Amity emphasizes industry-oriented education, high-quality teaching, and impactful research, supported by a dedicated faculty and a strong global alumni network.Role Description The Faculty – Computer Science role is a full-time, on-site position based at Amity University’s Hyderabad campus. The faculty member will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science and related areas, using contemporary pedagogical methods and industry-relevant examples. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, lectures, and learning materials; guiding students through practical labs, projects, and internships; and mentoring learners on academic and career development. The role involves conducting and publishing research, collaborating on funded projects, and contributing to departmental initiatives and curriculum enhancement. The faculty member will also participate in academic committees, student engagement activities, and continuous improvement of teaching quality and learning outcomes.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and ability to teach fundamental and advanced topics.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing course structures, assessments, and learning outcomes.Expertise in Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning, and related tools and frameworks.Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and emerging trends relevant to academic and industry needs.Proficiency in Programming, with experience in multiple languages and development environments.Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., M.Tech/M.S./M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field); Ph.D. preferred.Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level and a record of research publications in reputable venues.Ability to use digital learning tools, manage diverse classrooms, and support inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to ethical and value-based education.Industry exposure, consultancy experience, or participation in interdisciplinary projects will be an added advantage.
