Its vision is to be among the finest providers of technical education in India, creating a strong platform for professional growth and research.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Faculty position in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec, located in Bhopal. The faculty member will design and deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate CSE courses, prepare lesson plans, develop teaching materials, and conduct classroom and laboratory sessions. Responsibilities include mentoring and advising learners, evaluating performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves contributing to syllabus design, curriculum enhancement, and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies aligned with industry needs. The faculty member is also expected to participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, research or project work, and institute-level events and outreach activities.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering subjects such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, Computer Networks, and Programming Languages.Ability to teach emerging and applied CSE domains, including areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.Demonstrated teaching skills, including effective classroom management, learner-centric pedagogy, curriculum development, and use of modern teaching tools and technologies.Research aptitude with the ability to guide projects, contribute to publications, collaborate on funded research, and stay updated with current developments in CSE.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor learners, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to academic and co-curricular activities.Minimum qualification of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized institution; a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.Prior teaching experience in an engineering college or university setting is desirable; industry experience in software development or related fields will be an added advantage.Comfort with using learning management systems, online assessment tools, and educational technologies to support teaching and academic administration.
