Faculty – Fashion & Lifestyle Design (FSD)Job Title: Assistant Professor / Faculty – Fashion & Lifestyle Design

Location: Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Fashion & Lifestyle Design.Teach subjects such as Fashion Design, Textile Design, Pattern Making, Draping, Garment Construction, Fashion Illustration, Styling, and Visual Merchandising.Guide students on academic projects, portfolios, collections, and industry-oriented assignments.Conduct practical demonstrations and studio-based learning.Mentor students for internships, competitions, exhibitions, and industry projects.Develop curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, and course material.Stay updated with current fashion trends, technologies, and industry practices.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of fashion design and garment construction.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.Good understanding of textiles, fabrics, surface ornamentation, and fashion trends.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to mentor students and manage studio/practical sessions.Qualification:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design / Fashion & Lifestyle Design / Textile Design / Apparel Design or a relevant discipline.Relevant industry/teaching experience preferred.Experience: 2–8+ years preferred, depending on level.
