In the same way, TIP needs individuals who are eager to move towards even higher levels of quality and excellence in teaching, research and development, and extension service to produce the best quality outcomes for the industry it serves, the country, and the world.About the RoleThe Faculty Member is responsible for delivering instruction in accordance with institutional policies, the Faculty Manual, and the Terms and Conditions of Employment, while implementing Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) principles and utilizing approved instructional plans such as the WLAP. The role also involves assessing student performance, contributing to curriculum development, engaging in research and community outreach, supporting program outcomes assessment, and pursuing continuous professional development to ensure academic excellence and student success.ResponsibilitiesComplies with/implements/ School rules and guidelines embodied in the Faculty Manual and the Terms and Conditions of Faculty Employment.Implements T.I.P. Outcomes-Based Education/Outcomes-Based Teaching and Learning.Use the instructor’s Guide/Weekly Lesson Activity Plan (WLAP) on the assigned subject and recommend revision when needed, subject to approval of the Program Chair.Maintains effective classroom management by ensuring classroom order and cleanliness, and inculcates student discipline.Evaluates students’ academic performance and submits the Official Report of Grades/other reports to the Program Chair on scheduled submission dates.Upgrades educational qualifications and teaching competence through graduate studies and professional seminars on pedagogical methods and strategies.Participates in the revision/ development of syllabi, WLAPs, and instructional materials.Participates in Research and Community Outreach activities.Assesses the achievement of Student outcomes and supports the assessment of Program Educational Objectives.Performs other functions as may be required by the Program Chair.QualificationsMust be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences/Psychology/Political Science/Education or any relevant course.Must possess a Master’s Degree in the same or a closely related field, in compliance with CHED requirements for faculty teaching in higher education.Relevant industry experience is an advantage, particularly for professional and technical courses.Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be of good moral character and professional standing.Proficient in or familiar with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) and flexible learning delivery.
