Faculty Recruitment – Ancient History SpecializationApplications are invited for the post of:Assistant ProfessorAssociate ProfessorSpecialization:Ancient HistoryResponsibilitiesDeliver High-Quality Teaching: Conduct engaging lectures in Ancient History, covering early civilizations, ancient India, world civilizations, archaeology, historiography, and related historical developments using interactive and student-centric teaching methods.Promote Research & Critical Thinking: Encourage analytical thinking and historical inquiry through innovative teaching practices, research-based learning, discussions, case studies, and the integration of digital resources.Mentor Students: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students, supporting research projects, dissertations, career planning, and participation in seminars, conferences, and academic activities.Contribute to Academic Excellence: Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, accreditation processes, research publications, consultancy, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned.Eligibility CriteriaPh.D. in History with specialization in Ancient History.Master's Degree in History with specialization in Ancient History.Bachelor's Degree in History.Strong teaching, research, and publication record will be preferred.Qualifications and experience should be as per UGC norms.How to ApplyInterested candidates meeting the above criteria are requested to send their detailed resume to:s.pillai36773@paruluniversity.ac.in
