Family Medicine doctor

Job description:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Doctor to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare, managing ongoing conditions, and promoting overall patient wellness.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients.Conduct medical consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and common medical conditions.Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling.Perform or coordinate appropriate procedures, investigations, and diagnostic tests.Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.Refer patients to specialists when required and coordinate multidisciplinary care.Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.Follow applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.Respond appropriately to urgent medical conditions within the scope of primary care practice.QualificationsMedical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).Completion of licensing Family Medicine/General Practice in DHA DubaiValid medical license and eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional certifications such as ACLS may be required depending on the facility.Relevant clinical experience in primary or family medicine.Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExcellent patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize clinical needs effectively.Strong knowledge of preventive medicine and chronic disease management.Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical information systems.Working ConditionsWork is primarily conducted in a clinic, medical center, or primary healthcare setting.May involve scheduled outpatient consultations, urgent care, and occasional on-call duties depending on the organization.The role requires compliance with all applicable healthcare, infection-control, patient-safety, and professional standards.Key Performance AreasQuality and safety of patient care.Accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.Patient satisfaction and continuity of care.Appropriate preventive healthcare and chronic disease management.Accurate and timely clinical documentation.Compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.Work Location: In person
