The Family Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients across the lifespan; deliver preventive, chronic disease, acute, and wellness care; practice evidence-based medicine in a patient-centered environment; and collaborate closely with behavioral health, pharmacy, and specialty services. The role also participates in quality improvement and population health initiatives and supports the mission of Tribal healthcare and community wellness.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Family Medicine residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family MedicineEligible for unrestricted Michigan medical licensureDEA registration or eligibilityCommitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive careExperience in Tribal, rural, community health, or underserved healthcare settings is welcome but not required.
