The practice is exploring a transition in physician ownership of the clinical practice. That would be a real ownership and governance role, with defined governance responsibilities and compensation, and the details discussed directly with clinic leadership and healthcare counsel. This is a stand-alone outpatient clinic, not a seat inside a hospital system.A schedule that respects your life. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no on-call hours, no nights, and no weekends. Tuesdays are currently half days, with hours expanding over time.Straightforward scope. Family medicine and weight loss today, with a referral network for anything more complex and a hospital across the street for anything severe.About the RoleA family medicine and wellness practice in the Quad Cities is hiring a full-time Family Medicine Physician to care for an established patient panel. The role is on-site and works alongside a Family Nurse Practitioner and a close clinical and administrative team.What You Will OwnDelivering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages across an established panelBuilding long-term relationships and continuity of care with patients and familiesProviding clinical leadership for the practice and its care teamOverseeing weight loss and wellness care alongside family medicineCoordinating referrals through the practice's specialist networkDocumenting accurately and supporting clean coding and billingPartnering with the Nurse Practitioner and clinic staff to keep the practice running wellWhat You BringMD or DO degree with board certification in Family MedicineActive Illinois medical license, or eligibility to obtain oneDEA registration and an Illinois controlled substance license, or eligibility to obtain themEstablished outpatient primary care experience and a long-term view of building a career in one practiceInterest in taking over an existing patient panelEligibility to work in the US and the ability to work on-site in the Quad CitiesA relationship-first approach to patient care and a team-first style that fits a small officePreferred ExperienceInterest in clinical leadership, governance, and practice ownershipWeight management or wellness medicine experienceExperience leading or mentoring Nurse Practitioners and clinical staffCompensation and Benefits$230,000 to $260,000 per year, set by experience.
