Farm Manager – International OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Farm Manager for an exciting large-scale agricultural operation based in AfricaThis opportunity would suit an experienced agricultural professional with a strong background in the management of commercial farming operations. Experience gained within large-scale production environments involving crops such as bananas, avocados, coffee, citrus or other commercial crops would be particularly relevant.The RoleThe Farm Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of farming operations, working closely with operational and senior management teams.Responsibilities are expected to include:Managing day-to-day farm operations and crop productionPlanning and coordinating planting, growing, harvesting and related activitiesManaging and developing farm employees and operational teamsMonitoring crop quality, yields and productivityEnsuring effective use of labour, equipment and agricultural resourcesSupporting irrigation, fertilisation and crop-management programmesMaintaining high standards of health, safety and operational complianceMonitoring costs and helping drive operational efficienciesWorking closely with packhouse, logistics and other operational functions where requiredAbout YouWe are particularly interested in candidates who have:Significant experience within commercial or large-scale farmingPrevious responsibility for managing farm operations and agricultural teamsStrong practical crop-production knowledgeExperience managing sizeable workforcesA hands-on and operational management styleGood planning, organisational and problem-solving skillsStrong English communication skillsPackageA competitive expatriate package will be offered and will be discussed with suitable candidates.If you are an experienced Farm Manager interested in a senior international agricultural opportunity, we would be pleased to hear from you.
