Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a Farm Operations Manager with strong personal integrity, practical expertise in agriculture, and a proven ability to lead by example. The ideal candidate would be a Hands-On Leader who is deeply familiar with Nigeria’s agricultural economy and has extensive experience in Livestock Production. Responsibilities

Oversee daily farm activities, including livestock management, crop production, and resource allocation.Manage and lead farm staff, ensuring efficient task completion, providing training, and overseeing work schedules.Collaborate with executives to create and monitor budgets and financial reports, and ensure cost-effective operations.Ensure proper feeding, breeding, health care, and general welfare of livestock, including goats and poultrySchedule and oversee maintenance and repair of farm equipment and machinery.Ensure all farm activities and employees follow strict biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases and protect the health of livestock and the farm environment.Maintain accurate records of livestock production, farm expenses, and staff performance.Stay updated with agricultural advancements and implement best practices to improve farm productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or HND in Animal Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or a related field.Proven experience in Farm Management or a related role.Strong leadership and organisational skills.Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and livestock care.Familiarity with agricultural equipment and technology.
