We develop future-oriented academic programs and industry partnerships, with curricula built to keep pace with how design is actually practiced.About the RoleThe Department of Art & Design is expanding its Fashion Design and Textile Design programs and is inviting applications for full-time, on-site faculty positions at the AUREA campus in Lahore.Positions AvailableWe are hiring at three ranks, across both Fashion Design and Textile Design:Associate ProfessorAssistant ProfessorLecturerPlease state the rank and specialization you are applying for in your application.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver courses across fashion and textile disciplines, including lesson planning, lectures, studio sessions, and practical demonstrationsMentor students, supervise projects and portfolios, assess performance and give feedback that moves student work forward.Contribute to curriculum development, departmental initiatives and industry partnerships.Support student recruitment activities, exhibitions, juries and campus eventsStay current with fashion and textile industry trends and integrate market insight into teaching.Contribute to an inclusive, student-centered learning environmentEligibility CriteriaCandidates must possess qualifications and experience as per HEC criteria for the rank applied for. Academic qualifications should be in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a closely related field from an HEC-recognized institution.What We're Looking ForStrong subject expertise in fashion design, textile design, fashion styling, print and surface design, pattern making, or a related specialization, with the ability to translate industry practice into effective teaching.Prior teaching, academic or training experience in fashion or textile education, or substantial professional industry experience.Strong communication, presentation and classroom management skillsAbility to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to curriculum development and departmental research or creative projectsProficiency with design software and digital learning tools relevant to the discipline (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD and textile design software, LMS platforms)An interest in industry engagement and student recruitment is an advantageLocationAUREA campus, Opposite DHA Phase 5 Extension M, Kamahan Road, Lahore.How to ApplySend your CV to hr@leads.edu.pk
