Key Responsibilities :• Drive category revenue growth and gross margin targets across all Arabic ladies fashion verticals• Set pricing and promotional strategies that grow top line sales while protecting profitability• Plan and execute promotions around Ramadan, Eid, wedding season, and key shopping moments• Negotiate vendor-funded deals and measure impact, conversion, revenue, and margin• Own the full category structure across Tailoring, Ready made, and Fabrics and their sub-categories• Build vertical strategies that drive focused sales and profit growth within each sub-category• Stay ahead of Arabic fashion trends and analyse customer behaviour including search trends, wish list activity, product views, conversion rates and repeat purchases to optimise category performance.• Build a seasonal merchandising calendar and ensure the right products are live at the right time• Own in-app merchandising, including search ranking, category pages, homepage collections and featured campaigns, to maximise product discovery and conversion.• Monitor the sales funnel and work with tech to improve product discoverability and conversion• Track competitor platforms and market shifts across the GCC to keep Tsamym's assortment ahead• Define vendor quality standards, monitor performance, onboard new partners and implement vendor tiering programmes to improve customer experience and commercial performance.• Grow high-performing vendors through merchandising and promotional opportunities.• Partner with Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations and Customer Support teams to improve the end-to-end shopping experience• Identify new product categories, brands and fashion trends that support Tsamym's long-term growth strategy.• Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports with actionable insights for management.• Leverage AI tools to analyse customer trends, optimise merchandising decisions and improve category performance. What You'll Bring• 5+ years of experience in category management, fashion buying or merchandising, preferably within an e-commerce or marketplace environment.• Deep knowledge of Arabic ladies fashion abayas, kaftans, modest wear, fabrics, and tailoring.• Experience working with marketplace platforms, seller ecosystems or multi-vendor e-commerce businesses.• Proven ability to drive both top line revenue and margin targets simultaneously• Strong commercial acumen comfortable owning a P&L and making data-driven decisions• Experience planning promotions, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts• Skilled at reading consumer behaviour and translating it into buying and merchandising decisions• GCC or MENA fashion market experience with understanding of regional consumer preferences• Familiarity with demand planning, buying budgets, or open-to-buy models• Arabic language skills (advantageous but not essential) At Tsamym, you'll have the opportunity to build one of the GCC's first marketplace platforms dedicated exclusively to Arabic women's fashion. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales and margin performance, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing the category mix to meet customer demand and business objectives. The Fashion Category Manager collaborates with procurement, sales, merchandising, and marketing teams, negotiates contracts and terms with suppliers, and ensures timely product availability. The role also involves monitoring market and fashion trends, conducting competitor analysis, and preparing regular reports and recommendations for senior management.Qualification :Candidates should possess strong Category Management and Procurement skills to manage assortments, supplier relationships, and stock levels effectively.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Sales acumen to interpret data, forecast demand, and drive category performance.Candidates should possess proven Contract Negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial vendor partnerships.Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.Candidates should possess relevant experience in fashion retail, buying, or merchandising, ideally within the UAE or regional market.Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, fashion management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple categories and deadlines.Candidates should possess proficiency in spreadsheets, category management tools, and basic data analysis software; experience with ERP or retail systems is an advantage.Preferably, Arabic Female candidates who can join immediately.Location : Al Ain, UAE.
