We believe in making Great Moments for Everyone, Every day.JOB TITLEDepartment Head | MAF Retail | Hypermarket KuwaitROLE SUMMARYThe Department Head is responsible to ensure the quality, range and freshness of offered goods to attract and satisfy the customers. The role holder is also responsible for the coordination and communication between Merchandisers and Sales Teams and other relevant service providers within the assigned area.ROLE PROFILEDevelop and implement department strategies to maintain a competitive advantage within the store.Manage supplier negotiations and internal promotions to strengthen the store's commercial positioning.Oversee pricing policies, product assortment, and the profitability of department assets.Ensure effective stock management, including inventory control, replenishment, and merchandise deliveries.Implement initiatives to reduce waste, shrinkage, and out-of-stock situations.Monitor security, hygiene, and customer service standards across the department.Supervise staff scheduling and ensure operational efficiency within the department.Lead, coach, and develop team members while supporting performance management and succession planning.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.Minimum 3+ years of experience in the retail industry.Minimum 2+ years of experience in an operations or supervisory role.Strong communication and presentation skills.Customer-focused mindset with excellent service orientation.Strong time management skills and general product knowledge.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
