The instructor will deliver lectures, demonstrations, and studio-based classes in fashion design, pattern making, garment construction, and related subjects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, guiding student projects, supervising practical sessions, and providing constructive feedback on assignments and portfolios. The instructor will participate in curriculum review, collaborate with colleagues to align teaching methods with industry standards, and support student exhibitions or fashion shows. Additional duties may include mentoring students, maintaining an organized classroom environment, and contributing to departmental meetings and academic quality initiatives.Qualifications Strong foundation in Teaching and Training, with demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging, inclusive, and practical fashion design classes.Experience in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design, including creating course outlines, learning outcomes, and assessment tools aligned with program goals.Applied proficiency in Design Thinking, particularly in the context of fashion design, creative problem solving, and user-centered design processes.Relevant academic qualification in Fashion Design or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications in fashion or education are an advantage.Professional experience in the fashion industry (e.g., design, production, merchandising) and a portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills.Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural academic environment.Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with fashion trends, technologies, and pedagogical best practices.
