Our work combines creative concepts with practical product requirements to develop commercially relevant apparel and coordinated collections.The RoleWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to develop apparel concepts and collections from initial ideas through sampling and product development. The role involves researching trends, developing designs, selecting materials and colors, preparing technical information, and coordinating with production and sourcing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop original fashion concepts, apparel designs, and seasonal collection ideas.Create sketches, mood boards, design references, and visual presentations for new collections.Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, materials, and market developments.Translate brand direction, customer requirements, and commercial objectives into wearable designs.Select and develop fabrics, trims, colors, prints, patterns, finishes, and other garment details.Prepare technical drawings, measurements, specifications, and design documentation.Develop and maintain tech packs and product information for apparel development.Coordinate with pattern makers, sample makers, manufacturers, suppliers, and sourcing teams.Review samples and provide design feedback, adjustments, and revisions.Ensure final designs remain consistent with collection direction, brand identity, quality expectations, and product requirements.Maintain organized design files, sketches, specifications, samples, and product development records.Support collection planning, product line development, and seasonal design schedules.Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, production, marketing, and other teams on product requirements.Review materials, samples, prototypes, and garment details throughout the development process.Track design revisions, sampling timelines, approvals, and outstanding development requirements.Research new materials, techniques, production methods, and design opportunities.Prepare visual and technical materials for internal reviews, presentations, and product discussions.Identify opportunities to improve design development, sampling, documentation, and creative workflows.Requirements3+ years of experience in fashion design, apparel design, clothing design, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, materials, colors, silhouettes, and fashion trends.Strong sketching, visual presentation, and creative development skills.Experience preparing technical drawings, measurements, specifications, and product documentation.Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or comparable fashion/design software.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple designs and development deadlines.Good understanding of sampling, pattern development, sourcing, and garment production processes.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to interpret brand requirements and translate concepts into practical apparel designs.Experience with tech packs, pattern making, sampling, sourcing, or production coordination is an advantage.A portfolio demonstrating relevant fashion or apparel design work is preferred.What We OfferHybrid working arrangement with flexible part-time hours.Flexible hours designed to support different professional schedules.Practical experience across fashion design, collection development, apparel design, and product development.Opportunities to contribute to creative concepts, sampling, materials, and garment development.Cross-functional collaboration with sourcing, production, merchandising, marketing, and business teams.
