EducationBachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design or a related field.ExperienceAt least 5 yearsThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, TextileResponsibilities & ContextLead and mentor a team of fashion designers, supporting their creative and professional development.Develop commercially relevant apparel concepts and collections for international customers.Research and interpret global fashion trends, market direction, customer DNA and seasonal requirements.Translate customer briefs into strong design concepts, mood boards, color stories, fabric directions and product ranges.Develop and oversee circular knitwear products from concept through sampling and final product development.Work closely with merchandising, product development, sourcing, fabric, technical and production teams to ensure design feasibility.Provide creative and technical direction throughout the sampling and development process.Review and approve design outputs, ensuring consistency in quality, aesthetics, construction and customer requirements.Maintain strong awareness of UK and USA market trends, consumer preferences and commercial product direction.Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders during collection development, presentations and product reviews.Encourage innovative approaches to fabrics, finishes, construction, sustainability and product functionality.Introduce and develop 3D design and digital product development workflows within the design process.Support the development of seasonal collections and customer-specific product ranges.Travel abroad when required.Additional RequirementsMinimum 5 years of professional experience in fashion/apparel design, preferably within a manufacturing, buying-house or international brand environment.Strong hands-on experience in circular knitwear design and product development.Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, washes/finishes and manufacturing processes.Strong understanding of UK and/or USA fashion markets is highly preferred.Good proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant design tools.Digital & Future-Focused Skills will be considered a strong advantage: Experience with 3D fashion design software such as CLO3D, Style3D, Browzwear/ VStitcher or similar.Experience using AI tools for fashion design, visualization, trend research or product development.Job Location Gazipur, DhakaSalary:Negotiable
