FDE Engineer

We’re hiring an experienced FDE Engineer to work directly with enterprise clients, designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud and AI solutions into production.This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong cloud/platform engineering expertise combined with the ability to understand business challenges and identify where AI can deliver practical value.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage production cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeBuild and own CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processesDeploy and operate containerised applications using Docker and KubernetesImplement cloud security, IAM, networking, secrets management and compliance controlsBuild monitoring, logging and observability for production environmentsOwn production releases, troubleshooting, incident response and reliabilityWork directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsIdentify and shape practical AI/GenAI use cases, prototypes, automations and agentic workflowsTake solutions from initial concept through to secure, scalable production deploymentExperience Required5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering or SRE3+ years working with major cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft AzureStrong experience with Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD, Docker and KubernetesStrong understanding of cloud networking, security and production operationsScripting/automation experience, ideally PythonExperience working directly with enterprise clients and senior stakeholdersGood practical understanding of AI/GenAI and the ability to explain AI concepts in business termsExperience with Azure, AKS, GitOps, enterprise AI solutions and regulated environments would be advantageous.
