InoChem is developing a greenfield industrial complex for soda ash and calcium chloride on an 800,000 sqm site in Ras Al Khair Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The complex is designed to support regional industrial growth and supply key raw materials to various manufacturing sectors. Once fully operational, InoChem will be the first soda ash producer in the GCC and the largest producer of soda ash and calcium chloride in the MENA region. The company offers opportunities to contribute to a large-scale, strategic industrial project with long-term career growth potential.Role Description The Feld Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling field equipment and processes within the soda ash and calcium chloride production facilities. This full-time, on-site role in Ras Al Khair involves performing routine inspections of equipment, recording operating parameters, and reporting any abnormalities or safety concerns. The Feld Operator will follow standard operating procedures, support start-up and shutdown activities, and assist in basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers. The role includes working closely with the control room team, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Shift work may be required to support continuous plant operations.Qualifications Technical knowledge of industrial or chemical plant operations, including basic process flow understanding and equipment such as pumps, valves, and pipelines.Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and basic technical documents.Strong awareness of occupational safety and environmental compliance, with a commitment to safe work practices.Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment issues, with the ability to identify and report problems promptly.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers.Willingness and physical ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, including shifts, outdoor work, and use of personal protective equipment.High school diploma or technical diploma in industrial operations, chemical technology, or a related field; additional technical training is an advantage.Previous experience in industrial, petrochemical, or chemical plant operations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and use of plant monitoring systems.
