Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: AED 7,000-8,000 per month About the RoleSumma Accounting & Consultancy Services is looking for a well-presented, articulate, and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate should have a professional appearance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the confidence to interact with clients professionally.The successful candidate will have at least three years of accounting experience and a good understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax. This role offers an opportunity to develop further within a professional accounting and consultancy environment.1. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping.Record sales, purchases, bills, expenses, and bank transactions.Perform bank reconciliations.Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.Prepare and assist with UAE VAT Returns and Corporate Tax Returns.Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of accounting experience IN THE UAEGood understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Intermediate knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.Well-presented, articulate, professional, and confident in client-facing situations.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines.FEMALE2. Nice-to-HavesExperience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or tally.UAE-based with a valid UAE driving license and access to a car for occasional client visits.Experience assisting with financial statements and tax return preparation.3.
