Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an FF&E Designer located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The FF&E Designer will be responsible for selecting, designing, and overseeing the furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for various projects. The role involves coordinating with clients and vendors, creating and presenting design proposals, and ensuring that all installations meet the high standards of LACASA. The designer will also collaborate closely with the architectural and engineering teams to achieve cohesive and innovative designs.Qualifications & skills Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.5-7 years of FF&E design experience in the UAE or GCC, preferably within high-end residential, hospitality, or luxury commercial projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture construction, detailing, and FF&E brands.Good understanding of furniture pricing, cost estimation, and budget compliance.Familiarity with UAE suppliers, manufacturers, and procurement channels.Ability to follow company documentation standards, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail, coordination, communication, organization, and presentation skills.Familiarity with FF&E software such as Dot Studio or similar platforms is an advantage.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to source materials, quotations, and samples for material boards.Develop professional sample boards, FF&E schedules, specifications, and documentation.Review FF&E samples and prototypes to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.Coordinate FF&E documentation with architectural, MEP, and interior design drawings.Review drawings and schedules, identify discrepancies, and maintain consistency across all documents.Collaborate closely with the interior design team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E elements into the overall design.
