As the company expands, it is building a strong reputation as a leading national service provider and a trusted partner in the international boating community.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fiber Laminator role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Fiber Laminator will prepare molds and surfaces, cut and lay fiberglass materials, and apply resins, gelcoats, and other composite materials to boats and yachts according to technical specifications. Responsibilities include performing laminating, trimming, sanding, and finishing work, ensuring structural integrity and high-quality surface finishes, and conducting minor repairs on damaged fiberglass components. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings or work orders, following safety and environmental guidelines, and collaborating closely with technicians, painters, and supervisors to meet project deadlines. The Fiber Laminator will also assist in quality checks, maintain tools and work areas, and support continuous improvement in laminating processes.Qualifications Strong hands-on skills in fiberglass laminating, cutting, lay-up, repair, sanding, and finishing for marine applications.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications relevant to boat and yacht structures.Knowledge of resins, gelcoats, composite materials, curing processes, and safe handling of chemicals and tools.Experience working in marine maintenance, boatbuilding, or similar industrial environments, preferably in fiberglass or composites.Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures.Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to work on-site in workshop and marina environments.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and coordinate with multi-disciplinary crews.Basic education in a technical or vocational field; additional training in composites or marine technology is an advantage.Previous experience in Dubai or the wider Gulf marine sector is beneficial but not required.
