Field Application Engineer

The company is committed to combining technical excellence with practical applications to help customers improve quality, efficiency, and reliability in their processes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Application Engineer role based in Batu Kawan. The Field Application Engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, configure solutions using Estek Automation’s vision and handling systems, and support the integration of hardware and software at customer sites. Daily activities include providing pre- and post-sales technical support, conducting system demonstrations and evaluations, troubleshooting issues in the field, and collaborating with internal engineering teams to optimize system performance. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, training customer personnel on system operation, and supporting the sales team with technical presentations and proposals.Qualifications Strong field applications experience, including onsite customer support and solution implementation.Proficiency in technical support activities such as troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving hardware and software issues.Familiarity with sales-related tasks, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and contributing to proposals.Solid knowledge of analog systems and electronics relevant to automation, vision inspection, and industrial equipment.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system schematics.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments as required.Experience with machine vision systems, automation equipment, or industrial control systems is an advantage.
