Field Application Engineer (FAE) – Embedded Systems

About the RoleOur client is an embedded systems solutions provider expanding its international business. The company is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support customers in the Korean market, provide technical consultation during the sales process, and act as the key bridge between customers, sales, technical support, and R&D teams.Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Korean customers and help resolve product-related or project-related technical issues.
• Support the sales team in technical communication, product presentations, solution explanations, and product demonstrations.
• Communicate with customers to understand technical requirements, analyze application scenarios, and identify potential business opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales, technical support, and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements are properly addressed.
• Provide technical feedback and market insights to internal teams to support product planning, solution improvement, and sales strategy development.
• Maintain effective communication with customers during pre-sales, project evaluation, and post-sales support stages.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Embedded Systems, IoT Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in embedded systems R&D, technical support, or Field Application Engineering.
• Familiar with ARM-based software and hardware design.
• Experience in customer-facing technical communication, preferably in B2B or industrial project environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and internal coordination skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work independently in overseas markets.
• Candidates based in Seoul are preferred, with strong understanding of the local customer environment.
• Korean language capability is preferred. English communication capability is a plus.Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with embedded boards, industrial control products, IoT devices, edge computing, or related hardware/software solutions.
• Prior experience supporting overseas customers or working in an international business environment.
• Experience working closely with sales teams on technical solution presentations and customer requirement analysis.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, product notes, or customer-facing technical explanations.Compensation will be discussed based on the candidate’s experience, technical capability, location, and market level
