Backed by top-tier venture capital, with enterprise customers across retail, consumer, and logistics already running mission-critical workloads on the platform.About the roleAs a Field Engineer, you'll be the technical engine of a customer-facing pod, partnering closely with an Account Executive and BDR to run discovery, demos, and proof-of-value engagements, then guiding customers from close through production deployment and expansion. This is a hybrid pre- and post-sales role for someone who wants real ownership over how a category-defining infrastructure product gets technically evaluated and adopted by engineering teams.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales to run technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements with prospective customersTranslate customer requirements into technical validation plans and guide prospects through evaluationSupport customers from close through production deployment, ensuring successful adoption and expansionServe as a technical voice in deal strategy, working closely with the Account Executive on positioning and competitive differentiationProvide feedback to Product and Engineering based on field experience with prospects and customersWhat we're looking for4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Field Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Solutions Architecture, or similar)Strong grasp of modern data architectures — relational databases, event streaming, microservicesStrong SQL fluencyFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Flink, Spark) is a plusComfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with direct customer exposureLocation & CompensationNYC, hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in office). Base salary $145,000–$160,000, plus variable bonus and equity, with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. Actual compensation depends on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications assessed during the interview process.
