Apply & track with Apply EdgePurpose of the RoleThe key objective of the role is to provide scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expertise and medical and scientific support for the allocated Oncology NewBridge marketed products in the Gulf and KSA region.The individual engages in scientific exchange with in-country medical and scientific experts, including Healthcare Professionals and end users, consistent with the objectives of Medical Affairs Function, and NewBridge overall.Required Competencies, Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, or other life science, Master’s or a Doctoral Degree or Master of Business Administration is desirableMinimum of 3 years experience as MSL, Medical Advisor or CRA in a MNC in the MENA regionPrevious experience in Oncology is essentialPrevious experience across Gulf and KSA markets is preferredAbility to build strong relationships with external customers, as well as peers and cross functionallyFluency in English and Arabic, both written and spokenResponsibilities & Accountabilities1) Engagement with Key Opinion LeadersProvide fair and balanced information on the benefits and risks of products, therapeutic option and disease stateGather Insights and advice about company products or pipeline through peer-to-peer interactions and advisory boards and communicate relevant information back to internal stakeholdersFacilitate initiation, development, and ongoing fostering of and collaboration with centers of excellence, and educational programs to address unmet medical needs within the ecosystemTrain and develop speakers on the company’s products and manage the related speaking engagement schedules2) Science & ResearchIdentify & support in potential data generation opportunities e.g. IIS, that align the medical strategy of the assigned therapeutic areaSupport in company-sponsored clinical research-related activitiesMaintain Scientific Expertise of Products and Disease StatesKeep abreast of cutting edge research and literature in therapeutic areaAttend scientific meetings and symposiaProvide synopsis of information presented to internal colleaguesGather competitive intelligence and report back to NBPReceive internal training by expert external guests and internal colleagues3) Provide Scientific Information and Education SupportDiscuss disease state or product information through unbiased and compliant peer-to-peer interactions with opinion leaders for -on-label useReactive communication of off-label information in response to unsolicited questionsDeliver presentations pertaining to therapy area updates to key opinion leaders and decision makersSupport medical or scientific activities at conferences or meetingsConduct medical educational training for internal partners and become the internal subject matter expert for the assigned therapy area(s).Provide scientific support to commercial, marketing and Medical Affairs, including training, medical writing, education and other scientific projectsRegularly collect and interprets medical insights and feedback gathered from scientific exchange with opinion leaders and communicates relevant information to internal stakeholders in order to define, update, and support medical strategies4) ComplianceAct with high standards of compliance and ethics.Ensure all medical interactions and activities with HCPs are informed, balanced, current, and conducted with a high standard of compliance and in accordance with Newbridge’s Code of Conduct and relevant local and international codes of ethical business practices.Adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and NewBridge SOPs, as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by NewBridge Compliance Department5MI ReportingDaily and monthly reporting on visits as per defined criteria
