We are committed to delivering exceptional solutions and maintaining cutting-edge connectivity for our clients.Job SummaryThe Field Network Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing network infrastructure and telecommunications equipment at various client sites. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site installation of network hardware, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and cabling systemsPerform on-site installation of servers, computers, and various peripheralsWire Management, and site visitsConduct comprehensive network assessments and diagnostic evaluationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issuesInstall and configure network equipment according to client specifications and industry standardsMaintain detailed documentation of network installations, repairs, and maintenance activitiesPerform regular network performance testing and optimizationRespond to emergency service calls and provide timely technical supportCollaborate with internal engineering teams to develop and implement network solutionsEnsure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during field operationsProvide technical guidance and support to clients during and after installation processesRequirementsRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, or Experience2-3 years of hands-on experience in network installation and maintenanceCompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferredProficient in TCP/IP networking principlesStrong understanding of network infrastructure componentsExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordReliable transportationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, and other networking equipmentFamiliarity with fiber optic and copper cabling installation techniquesKnowledge of wireless networking technologiesUnderstanding of network security principlesExperience with network monitoring and management toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsFrequent standing, walking, and liftingCapable of climbing ladders and working at heightsComfortable working in confined spaces such as network closets and server roomsWork EnvironmentFrequent travel to client sites within Miami Dade and BrowardM-F 8:30 - 5:30 PM Work ScheduleRare weekend work may be requiredRotative On-Call schedule for After-Hours and Weekends first responseBenefitsCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceOngoing technical training and certification supportGenerous Paid time off and holiday schedule.
