Field Operation Executive

Experience: 2–6 Years Location: Noida Sector 62, Uttar Pradesh (Extensive Travel Across India) Employment Type: Full-Time About BetterDrones BetterDrones is a rapidly growing Drone, GIS, and Geospatial Technology company specializing in Visual, Thermal, LiDAR, Mapping, AI-powered inspections, and Digital Twin solutions for the Power & Infrastructure sectors. We work with Power Utilities, Renewable Energy Companies, EPC Contractors, Transmission Utilities, Railways, and Government Organizations, helping them inspect, monitor, and manage critical infrastructure through cutting-edge drone technology. We are looking for an experienced Field Operations Executive to lead and manage end-toend execution of drone inspection and survey projects across India while ensuring operational excellence, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Candidates with prior experience as Drone Pilots in the Power Sector will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Plan, schedule, and execute drone inspection and survey projects.  Coordinate project mobilization, manpower deployment, equipment movement, travel, accommodation, and logistics.  Ensure project readiness before site deployment.  Field Operations Management Lead and supervise drone pilots, surveyors, and field engineers during project execution. Ensure smooth day-to-day field operations while maintaining productivity and quality. Resolve operational issues and minimize project delays.  Client Coordination Act as the primary point of contact during project execution.Coordinate with client representatives regarding site access, project schedules, permissions, and deliverables. Maintain strong professional relationships with clients throughout project execution.  Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to DGCA regulations, aviation guidelines, client SOPs, and BetterDrones safety standards.Promote safe flying practices and ensure compliance with all operational protocols.Equipment & Asset ManagementEnsure proper maintenance, calibration, transportation, and utilization of drones, GNSS equipment, LiDAR systems, batteries, and field accessories.Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance requirements.  Documentation & Reporting Review flight logs, survey records, field reports, and project documentation.Ensure accurate daily reporting and project status updates.Coordinate with GIS and Data Processing teams for timely delivery of outputs.  Team Leadership Guide, mentor, and support field teams to achieve project objectives.Ensure discipline, accountability, and adherence to company policies during field deployments.  Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following domains will be preferred: Drone-based Power Transmission Line Inspection  Distribution Line InspectionSolar Plant InspectionThermal InspectionLiDAR Survey ProjectsTopographic SurveysCorridor MappingInfrastructure Inspection ProjectsRailway or Highway Survey Projects  Required Skills Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent project planning and execution abilitiesHands-on experience in drone operations and field executionGood understanding of DGCA regulations and aviation safetyKnowledge of Power Transmission and Infrastructure projectsStrong communication and client management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong documentation and reporting skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project reporting toolsWillingness to travel extensively across India  Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Surveying, GIS, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate will be an added advantage.Experience managing drone field teams is highly preferred.  Why Join BetterDrones? Work on some of India's largest Drone, LiDAR, Thermal, GIS, and AI-powered inspection projects.Lead high-impact field operations for Power Transmission, Renewable Energy, and Infrastructure sectors.Work with enterprise clients, government organizations, and national-level projects.Exposure to cutting-edge drone technologies and advanced geospatial solutions.Fast-track career growth in one of India's rapidly expanding drone technology companies.Opportunity to work with experienced industry professionals and build leadership capabilities.  Travel Requirement This role requires extensive travel across India.
