The role is responsible for overseeing field maintenance, inventory movement, soil media operations, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards to support the achievement of business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily field operations and site maintenance activities, ensuring all operational areas are organized, clean, safe, and fully functional.Manage routine maintenance activities, including weeding, pruning, cleaning, irrigation support, and general upkeep to maintain high operational standards.Monitor plant health and quality, identifying pest and disease issues and implementing corrective and preventive control measures in coordination with relevant teams.Oversee inventory movements by supervising receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials, ensuring accurate stock records and timely availability of resources.Coordinate soil media and growing material operations, including raw material sourcing, soil mixing, quality control, and distribution to operational areas.Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, vehicles, and materials effectively to ensure operational activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Monitor workforce productivity and ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.Conduct regular site inspections and identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost optimization, and enhanced efficiency.Maintain accurate operational records, including maintenance logs, inventory reports, equipment utilization, plant health reports, and workforce attendance.Prepare periodic reports on operational performance, resource utilization, and maintenance activities for management review.Coordinate with Nursery, Landscape, Irrigation, and other support functions to ensure seamless execution of operational requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all field operations and maintenance activities.Assist in training and coaching field staff to improve performance, productivity, and adherence to operational standards.Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and ReportsEnsure compliance with all company policies, operational procedures, health, safety, and environmental standards in the execution of field operations activities.Implement and monitor approved operational systems, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain efficiency, consistency, and quality across all operational areas.Support the continuous improvement of operational processes by identifying inefficiencies, recommending corrective actions, and implementing best practices.Maintain accurate operational records, reports, checklists, inventory logs, maintenance records, and workforce data in accordance with company requirements.Prepare and submit periodic reports on operational performance, manpower utilization, inventory status, plant health, maintenance activities, and key operational metrics.Ensure all documentation is updated, properly maintained, and readily available for audits, inspections, and management review.Monitor compliance with quality standards and operational KPIs, taking corrective actions when performance gaps are identified.Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of policies, procedures, standards, and reporting mechanisms to support business objectives and operational excellence.Safety, Quality & Environment Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.Continuous Improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of field operations by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Monitor operational performance and recommend corrective and preventive actions to address process gaps and improve service delivery.Support the implementation of new technologies, tools, and best practices to optimize operational activities and resource utilization.Participate in developing and reviewing operational procedures, work instructions, and standards to ensure alignment with business objectives.Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing among field staff.Analyze operational data, maintenance records, and performance reports to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.Support management in implementing improvement initiatives and tracking their effectiveness against established KPIs.Assist in conducting operational reviews, lessons learned sessions, and corrective action plans to drive sustainable improvement across all field operations.Job RequirementsQualification and ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.Relevant professional certifications in operations, agriculture, landscaping,Minimum 4-6 years of experience in field operations, nursery operations, landscaping, agriculture, or a related operational environment.At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing field teams, resources, and operational activities.SkillsLeadership and team supervision.Planning and organizational skills.Resource allocation and workforce management.Inventory and materials management.Problem-solving and
