🚀 We're Hiring: Principal FPGA DSP Engineer | Abu Dhabi🌍 Open to qualified candidates globally – relocation to Abu Dhabi required.Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Onsite | International candidates welcome | Relocation support availableExperience - 10+ years onlyLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEWork Arrangement: OnsiteIndustry: Defence & Space TechnologyRole: Principal FPGA DSP EngineerWe are currently looking for an experienced Principal FPGA DSP Engineer to join a leading UAE-based defence and space technology organisation working on advanced MODEM, wireless communications, DSP and secure communication systems.This is a highly technical role suited to an engineer who has strong hands-on experience in FPGA/RTL development combined with digital communications, MODEM/baseband, receivers and DSP.🔹 What You'll Be Working OnThe role will involve the design, development and integration of FPGA-based communication systems, including:MODEM and baseband architectureDigital transmitter and receiver developmentReal-time DSP and signal-processing algorithmsWireless communication systems and PHY-layer implementationMIMO systems and receiver processingDVB / DVB-S / DVB-S2 and related digital communication technologiesRCS / RCS2 and satellite communication technologiesSDR and software-defined communication architecturesFPGA implementation of communication algorithms and waveformsHigh-speed digital data paths and hardware/software integrationFPGA system integration, verification, debugging and hardware bring-upTiming closure, performance optimisation and resource optimisationDevelopment of solutions for mission-critical defence and space applicationsExperience with MODEM + DSP + receiver + wireless communications is particularly important.🚫 ImportantCandidates should have genuine hands-on experience in FPGA-based communications/DSP.A profile focused only on:Generic FPGA/RTLASIC designAI/ML accelerationImage/video processingNetworking/IP infrastructureGeneral embedded systemswithout meaningful MODEM, receiver, wireless communications or communications DSP experience is unlikely to be suitable.
