Field Service Engineer - Audio Visual

📍 Must be based within 2 hours' drive of Central London 🚗 UK wide travel requiredWe’re looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our customer focused support desk team at Twisted. In this hands on role, you'll be visiting client sites across the UK to resolve technical AV issues, provide high quality service, and represent our company with professionalism. You’ll need to thrive under pressure, think on your feet, and maintain a calm, solutions driven approach. Strong communication, technical proficiency, and a customer first mindset are key.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service and ensure all serviced equipment is safe and functional.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair AV systems onsite at customer locations.Complete detailed service reports outlining issues, actions taken, and outcomes.Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure AV systems are operating optimally.Build positive client relationships to support service contract renewals.Collaborate closely with the internal AV Help Desk team.Work within customer SLAs and respond promptly to service needs.Perform bench repairs (where possible) or manage collection/ delivery to manufacturers.Requirements & Technical Experience 3+ years of experience in a Field Service Engineer role within the AV industry.UK driving licence required.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AV system faults independently.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Experience working within SLA-driven environments.Ability to work flexible hours and travel across the UK.A customer service-focused attitude with a proactive, can-do mindset.Systems: Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Logitech, Poly, Biamp, ZeeVee, Shure.Remote Management Tools: Utelogy, Barco, Fusion, RMS, SolarWinds, AvediaServer, TMS, Resource Manager.Certifications: AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D (desired).
