Supported by leading professional investors, CurveBeam AI is an unlisted public company with a dedicated team of 72 employees.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role based in Hatfield, PA, with some flexibility to work remotely. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing WBCT imaging systems at customer locations. Daily tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally. This role requires extensive travel (75%-85%) to customer locations to ensure optimal performance of nearly 250 devices across five different models.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform onsite installation of CurveBeam AI products, including uncrating, transport to the installation room, setup, calibration of X-ray output, and device calibration per established protocols.Diagnose and repair CurveBeam AI devices at customer sites with remote troubleshooting guidance from the Technical Support Team.Coordinate with the Customer Care and Technical Support Team to schedule and conduct annual preventive maintenance for all supported devicesArrange personal travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, to facilitate scheduled installations, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs in accordance with the Company’s travel policy.Ensure proper configuration and setup of devices during installations.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with internal processes.Qualifications2-5 years of experience with Field Service: technical, hands-on background including installation and hands-on technical work with advanced equipmentSkills in Troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware and software systemsProficiency in Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving customer issuesExpertise in Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliabilityStrong Customer Service skills, including communication and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to travel as required to customer locationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferredPrior experience in field service of medical imaging systems or healthcare technology is a plusCompensation: $60,000-$85,000/year (based on experience)
