We aim to not only provide products and services but also be a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and best practices.Role summary:As we take on new and exciting challenges, we are looking for an addition to our Field Service Engineers team in North Bulgaria – Ideally based in Pleven or Veliko Tarnovo. In this role you will be technically supporting hospital personnel with their operation of the most innovative surgical, critical care and diagnostic systems. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot and service machines used in the broad medical field. Your expertise will ensure the safety, precision and reliability of critical patient care systems.Your responsibilities will be:
- Install, maintain and repair medical equipment, such as computerized, robotized and other mechanized electronic systems in hospitals;
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of medical equipment;
- Communicate with clients, colleagues and vendors in a professional and friendly manner;
- Travel abroad for technical product trainings and service interventions;
- Perform training on hospital personnel on how to safley operate the the systems;
- Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation and maintenance procedures;
- Use standard test instruments and hand-tools.
- Follow the guidelines and procedures provided by the manufacturers.
- Keep a detailed documentation regarding all performed interventions.***The position involves working in an ionizing radiation environment and hospital facilities.To be successful on this position, you will need:
- University degree in biomedical sciences/electronics/automation/mechanics/mechatronics/physics/ other engineering fields;
- Previous experience in the field will be considered an advantage, but it is not required.
- Responsibility, passion and eagerness to learn are a must.
- Responsible attitude towards the seriousness of the medical equipment engineering;
- Passion for learning more about the cutting-edge medical technologies;
- Ability to utilize blueprints, schematic drawings and technical documentation;
- Fluent English and Bulgarian (both verbal and written);
- Certificate of Medical Suitability for Work in an Ionizing Radiation Environment, issued by the National Centre of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection (NCRRP) will be an advantage;
- Certificate of Qualification for Working with Ionizing Radiation Sources will be considerate as a plus.
- Driving license.***The role require extensive traveling, at times for multiple days/weeks on business in the country.Position type and expected hours of work?This is a full-time position with a work-from-home arrangement.
