Field Service Engineers (Medical Diagnostics)

WE'RE HIRING: Field Service Engineers (Medical Diagnostics), Abuja and Kano, NigeriaHealth Haus Ltd distributes Abbott diagnostic systems across Nigeria. As our installed base grows, we're hiring Field Service Engineers in Abuja and Kano to install, maintain and support clinical laboratory analysers in hospitals and labs.WHAT YOU'LL DO· Install, commission and validate clinical chemistry, immunoassay and haematology analysers at customer sites· Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on time and in line with manufacturer standards· Respond quickly to breakdown calls, diagnose faults and get systems back up and running· Complete accurate field service reports and log all service activity in our service management system· Train laboratory staff on correct operation, daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting· Manage spare parts and service tools, and flag parts needs early· Build strong working relationships with lab managers and scientists across your region· Support the sales team with technical input during demos and customer visitsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR· A B.Eng., B.Sc. or HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science or a related field· At least 3 years of hands-on experience servicing medical or laboratory equipment· Experience with clinical lab analysers, IVD, (chemistry, immunoassay or haematology) is a strong advantage. Experience with Abbott systems is a bonus· Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills· Comfortable using a laptop, service software and basic networking/LIS connectivity· Clear communication skills and a customer-first attitude· Willing to travel across the region, sometimes at short notice. This role may sometimes involve callouts outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
