FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANLocation: Roanoke, VAWork Arrangement: Field-Based/Travel RequiredSalary: $20/h-$38/h (based on experience)Per Diem: $59/day when travelingAbout The RoleOur client is seeking Field Service Technicians of all levels (I, II, III) to travel to customer sites and perform equipment installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and warranty service.This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, traveling, and solving technical problems. The technician will work independently in the field while representing our client professionally and delivering exceptional customer service.What You'll Do Travel to customer locations, including assignments of up to 3 weeks at a time Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical prints, and schematics Wire electrical power and control systems Perform carpentry, framing, and finishing work Install HVAC equipment, grounding systems, cable ladder systems, battery systems, doors, locks, and related hardware Complete trim work, flooring, and minor concrete repairs Safely operate power tools and construction equipment Complete additional field service tasks as assignedRequired Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience with electrical work HVAC knowledge Framing and finish carpentry experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred Skills Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions,
