It's a strong fit for someone with experience repairing mechanical and electrical equipment who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and interacting directly with customers.IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record to be considered.What You'll Do Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment and system issues. Troubleshoot problems involving mechanical components, electronics, PCBs, AC/DC power, and digital/analog circuitry. Install new equipment and complete hardware and software upgrades. Read and interpret electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Keep customers informed throughout service and repair work. Manage assigned tools, replacement parts, and service inventory. Complete service documentation and required system updates. Stay current on equipment changes, upgrades, and technical procedures. Follow company safety and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.What You'll Bring Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot equipment at the PCB or component level. Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and network navigation. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a field-service environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Preferred Experience 3–5 years of technical field service or equipment repair experience. Electro-mechanical, electronics, automation, or electrical training/certification. Cash-handling or high-speed paper-processing equipment. ATM, copier, check sorter, mail sorter, or currency sorter repair. Aviation, medical equipment, vending equipment, military repair, or similar technical experience.SCHEDULE & TRAVEL Field-based position servicing Portland and surrounding areas. Company vehicle provided for travel between home and customer locations. Rotating on-call coverage, typically once every 3–5 weeks. Some evening, weekend, and holiday coverage may be required. Occasional overnight or air travel outside the territory may be needed.
