ACS continues to grow and seeks team members who are passionate about high-performance technology and exceptional client service.Position Summary:Our AfterCare Service Technicians are the face of ACS to our clients after the install is complete. In this role you will travel to client sites to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot AV, lighting, shading, and network systems — and provide a clear path to resolution on every call. You will work alongside our programming, IT, lighting, and shade departments to solve problems on site, document your work in real time, and keep clients up and running.If you know Crestron, Lutron, and Savant, take pride in solving problems the right way, and enjoy working directly with clients in their homes and businesses, we want to hear from you. NYC, CT, Long Island, Hamptons, Miami, West Palm, Boca Raton.Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).• Working knowledge with Crestron, Lutron, and Savant systems.• Working knowledge of residential and commercial AV, lighting control, motorized shades, and networking fundamentals (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, IP addressing).• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and rack layouts.• Comfortable using a laptop, tablet, and service software to complete work orders in the field.• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willing to travel daily to client sites.• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work on ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and equipment closets.• Strong customer-facing communication skills and professional appearance.• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.• Legally authorized to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:• Proficiency in Crestron, Lutron, and Savant — including system setup, configuration, and diagnostics.• Manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Lutron, Savant, Control4, Sonos, Araknis/SnapAV, Ubiquiti, or similar).• Prior field service or AfterCare/service department experience in custom integration.• Experience with high-end residential clients and luxury properties.• Networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, Ubiquiti UEWA, Cisco, or similar).• Experience with distributed audio, video distribution, home theater calibration, and IP camera systems.What We're Looking For:Beyond technical skill, these are the qualities that make someone successful on our AfterCare team:• Reliable — shows up on time, prepared, and follows through until the issue is closed out.• Team Player — works easily with programming, IT, lighting, and shade departments to get to a solution.• Problem Solver — digs into the root cause instead of settling for a temporary patch.• Detail-Oriented — writes clear, complete service reports and closes work orders in real time.• Client-Focused — represents ACS well in client homes and businesses, and explains technical issues in plain language.• Accountable — owns the call from dispatch to resolution, including follow-up and RMAs.• Always Learning — keeps up with new platforms, firmware, and product lines as the industry changes.• Flexible — adapts when schedules shift, calls run long, or priorities change during the day.• Safety-Minded — works safely on ladders, in tight spaces, and around electrical and rack equipment.Compensation & Benefits• Competitive hourly pay• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• Paid time off and paid holidays• 401(k) with company match• Company vehicle, uniforms, and phone• Paid manufacturer training and certifications
