The organization values safety, professionalism, and responsive customer service in all onsite activities.Role Description The Field Service Technician (Garbage Chute Maintenance & Service) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing garbage chutes, access doors, and related mechanical components in residential and commercial buildings. Day-to-day tasks include scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues, performing minor repairs or component replacements, and ensuring equipment cleanliness and safe operation. The role involves documenting work performed, reporting any major issues or safety concerns, and following company procedures and safety regulations. The technician will interact with building staff and clients, provide clear updates on service activities, and support the broader facility management team as needed.Qualifications Strong maintenance and repair skills, including experience with building systems and mechanical components.Ability to perform troubleshooting and diagnostic work on garbage chutes and related equipment.Field service experience, including working on-site in residential or commercial buildings.Customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients, building staff, and supervisors.Knowledge of basic safety standards and safe work practices in facility maintenance.Ability to read and follow work orders, maintenance checklists, and simple technical instructions.Physical ability to work in vertical shafts, stairwells, and confined spaces, and to lift moderate loads.Previous experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related trade is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or mechanical fields is an advantage.Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as operations require.
