Apply & track with Apply EdgeField Service Engineer | Enterprise Networking | Control Room Technology | AV-over-IP | Washington DCWe're partnering with a leading technology manufacturer to recruit several Field Service Engineers to support the continued growth of its US business in the Washington DC area.The company designs and delivers mission-critical workplace and control room technology used by organisations across government, utilities, transportation, finance, broadcast and other critical infrastructure environments.This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware and networking solutions across customer sites throughout the US.What you'll be doingInstall, configure and commission enterprise technology solutionsProvide on-site and remote technical supportTroubleshoot hardware, networking and system issuesDeliver preventative maintenance and break-fix supportWork closely with customers to ensure successful deploymentsTravel to customer sites across the region (approximately 50–75%)What we're looking forExperience as a Field Service Engineer, Field Technician, Installation Engineer or similarStrong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, DHCP, VLANs)Customer-facing technical support or installation experienceExperience working with enterprise hardware, AV, networking or IT infrastructureExposure to Cisco networking, multicast, AV-over-IP or systems integration would be advantageousA proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and developPackageCompetitive salary ($70,000–$105,000 depending on experience)Comprehensive benefits packageExtensive training and career developmentOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in mission-critical environmentsJoin a growing US team backed by an established international manufacturerIf you're a hands-on engineer looking to work with enterprise networking, control room and mission-critical technology, I'd be happy to tell you more.
