As we enter our next phase of commercial growth, we are looking for entrepreneurial leaders who want to help build the future of aesthetics in the U.S.Boston Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our growing portfolio of advanced laser (including PICO), RF, and ultrasound aesthetic devices. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for ensuring our equipment performs at the highest level while delivering an exceptional service experience to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas, and aesthetic practices throughout the United States.What You'll DoInstall, commission, calibrate, and validate new equipment at customer sites.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, software and firmware updates, and system calibrations.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, optical, RF, and software-related issues to maximize equipment uptime.Provide onsite and remote technical support, troubleshoot customer concerns, and ensure timely resolution of service requests.Partner closely with Sales, Clinical, Operations, and Customer Support teams during installations, customer onboarding, and ongoing service.Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory, and documentation while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, OSHA standards, and company quality requirements.Support product launches, trade shows, customer demonstrations, and technical training initiatives as needed.What We're Looking ForAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/technical training and experience).3+ years of field service experience supporting technical or medical equipment.Strong troubleshooting skills involving electromechanical systems, electronics, software, and diagnostics.Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.Experience servicing medical lasers, energy-based aesthetic devices, or other medical equipment is highly preferred.Experience with PICO laser platforms is a strong plus.Outstanding customer service, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.Travel RequirementsAbility to travel up to 80% throughout the United States, with occasional evening, weekend, and international travel for manufacturer training and certification.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: Starting at $95,000 annually. The expected hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on factors such as the candidate's relevant accounting and financial management experience, financial planning and analysis expertise, startup experience, industry knowledge, professional certifications, education, and demonstrated ability to build, implement, and scale finance operations. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and business needs.This is a key, foundational role within a growing organization. As Boston Aesthetics continues to expand, the position may evolve to include increased leadership responsibilities.
