We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team.Job Summary:We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with a strong background in diagnostic medical imaging equipment, specifically CT, MRI, NM, and US modalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our customers' medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.Responsibilities:* Install, commission, and perform routine maintenance on CT, MRI, NM and US medical imaging equipment* Troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues with medical imaging equipment* Conduct preventative maintenance and perform safety inspections on equipment* Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve equipment performance* Develop and maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment performanceRequirements:* 5 years of experience in a field service engineering role, preferably in diagnostic medical imaging equipment (CT, MRI, NM, US, X-Ray)* Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering)* Strong knowledge of medical imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, NM, US and X-Ray modalities* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Effective communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Qualifications:* Certification in medical imaging equipment (e.g., CBET, CLES)* Experience with medical imaging equipment manufacturers (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips)* Knowledge of medical imaging industry standards and regulations (e.g., CSA, FDA)* Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)If you are a motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to service@vigtech.ca .
