As their service team grows in Abu Dhabi, they’re looking for a Field Service Engineer with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, set up and commission laboratory instruments at customer sitesPlan and carry out routine maintenance and respond to breakdowns and urgent service callsDiagnose and fix technical issues, including hardware, software and system connectivityTrain laboratory staff on day-to-day care and basic troubleshooting of their instrumentsKeep systems up to date with the latest software and hardware improvementsLog all service work accurately and keep customers informedPlan spare parts needs for the instruments you supportUse remote and digital tools to support customers proactivelyShare technical insight with the commercial teamKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering3 to 5 years of field service experience with laboratory or diagnostic equipmentHands-on experience with histology or pathology lab equipment, such as staining systemsExperience with digital pathology or imaging systems is a strong plusExposure to other lab disciplines, such as chemistry or immunology, is an advantageComfortable with digital tools, remote support platforms and AIExcellent English and a confident, professional manner with customersBased in Abu Dhabi or able to relocate quickly, with a valid UAE driving licenceTakes ownership, learns fast and stays calm under pressure
