Field Services Engineer - Water Treatment

Are you a field service engineer who thrives on solving problems onsite, not behind a desk, and speaks fluent Arabic and English?A global water and wastewater treatment technology company, known for its advanced RO, STP and ETP systems deployed across demanding industrial and offshore environments, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The company has a strong reputation across the Mediterranean and Middle East for reliable installation, commissioning and after sales service on complex plant systems, and this hire will be a critical, hands on presence for their UAE client base.This is not a desk based technical support role. You will be on client sites, on ships and rigs, and occasionally travelling to moderate risk countries, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and commissioning systems under real time pressure.What's in it for you:Direct, high trust relationships with clients, you become their go to engineer for plant performanceGenuine variety across installation, commissioning, repair and inspection work rather than a single repetitive taskExposure to offshore and international projects, not just local site visitsBase salary of AED 12,000 per monthWhat you'll be doing:Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and calibration on RO, STP and ETP systems across client sitesInstalling, troubleshooting and commissioning water maker systems within budget and agreed timeframesConducting site inspections and preparing reports with recommendations and parts listsProviding technical training to clients so they can run their systems smoothlyTravelling offshore and to moderate risk countries for installation and commissioning projectsLiaising directly with clients to build trust and identify further business opportunities for the sales teamWhat we need:6 to 8 years of post qualification experience in RO, STP, filtration and ETP operation, maintenance, inspection or troubleshootingOffshore RO or water treatment system installation and commissioning experienceExperience working in the Mediterranean regionDiploma or degree in Electrical or Instrumentation EngineeringPLC knowledge, essentialNative or fluent Arabic speaker with strong English language skillsA willingness to get hands on and deliver under schedule and budget pressure, whether that means confined spaces, ships or rigsIf you want a role where every day looks different and your technical judgement is trusted from the first site visit, we'd like to hear from you.
