The organization is committed to supporting government missions through reliable technology solutions.Role Description The Low Voltage Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role supporting the installation, termination, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and physical security systems for government and regulated clients. In this role, the technician will run and terminate low voltage cabling, including Cat6, fiber, and coax, in office, data center, and field environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring surveillance cameras and access control systems, testing and certifying cable runs, diagnosing connectivity or equipment issues, and documenting work performed to project specifications. The technician will coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deployment schedules and service-level commitments, and will interact directly with customers to ensure systems are installed and configured according to performance requirements. This position requires regular travel to client sites across the region east coast.QualificationsStrong hands-on skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware, cabling, and related infrastructure.Experience working with physical security systems, including security cameras, access control devices, and associated monitoring equipment.Ability to follow technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures, and to maintain accurate service and installation records.Knowledge of basic cybersecurity and data protection practices, particularly in secure or regulated environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve field issues independently or as part of a team.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with customers, engineers, and project managers.Comfort working in on-site field conditions, including carrying tools or equipment and adhering to safety and security requirements.Previous experience supporting government or highly regulated clients is beneficial, along with the ability to pass a background check.
