Field Trainer

The company currently operates more than 60 outlets across Bangalore, Chandigarh, and Delhi and is on track to expand to 1,000 touchpoints within the next three years. Basil is reshaping how India eats by combining speed, freshness, and openness in every interaction.Role Description The Field Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for training outlet teams to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences. This role includes conducting onboarding sessions, on-the-job coaching, and refresher trainings on food preparation standards, hygiene and safety, brand guidelines, and customer service. The Field Trainer will visit multiple outlets regularly to assess performance, identify skill gaps, and implement training plans that support operational excellence and sales goals. The role also involves creating simple training materials, tracking training outcomes, and collaborating with operations leaders to maintain Basil’s standards of transparency, freshness, and efficiency.Qualifications Experience in training or coaching frontline teams in food service, hospitality, or retail, with strong facilitation and presentation skills.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and standard operating procedures within quick-service or restaurant environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse teams on-site.Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan training schedules across multiple outlets.Comfort with basic documentation and reporting to track training attendance, performance improvements, and compliance.Prior experience in multi-outlet operations or chain restaurants is an advantage.Ability to work flexible hours, travel between outlets in Delhi, and spend extended time on the shop floor.Diploma or degree in hospitality, food service management, business, or a related field preferred.
