The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards across multiple retail locations to ensure a consistent, attractive, and brand-aligned customer experience. Day-to-day tasks include planning store layouts, updating window and in-store displays, coordinating seasonal and promotional setups, and ensuring product presentation supports sales objectives. The role involves regular store visits, collaborating with store teams to execute visual guidelines, monitoring display quality and compliance, and collecting feedback to refine merchandising strategies. The Field Visual Merchandiser will also support new store openings, conduct training on visual standards, and work closely with marketing and operations to align visual execution with campaigns and brand goals.Qualifications Experience in visual merchandising, retail display planning, and store layout execution, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or eyewear retail.Strong aesthetic sense, color and design awareness, and the ability to translate brand guidelines into engaging in-store visuals.Skills in project coordination, time management, and working across multiple store locations to meet visual rollout timelines.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with store staff, marketing, and operations teams.Ability to conduct on-site assessments, provide clear feedback, and train store teams on visual merchandising standards.Comfort with field work, including frequent travel within Chennai and nearby regions as required.Proficiency in basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with visual merchandising or design tools is an advantage.Previous experience in a similar field-based retail role and a strong customer experience mindset; a diploma or degree in design, fashion, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
