We're small, we move fast and we care about every frame.The roleWe're looking for a filmmaker who can take a project from first idea to final cut. You won't be just the camera person or just the editor. You'll shape the story, shoot it and finish it, working closely with the founders and the wider crew.What you'll doPre-productionTurn briefs into concepts, treatments, shot lists and storyboardsPlan shoots: locations, schedules, gear and crewBring ideas to the table, not just execute themProductionShoot on set and on location: commercials, brand films, documentaries, events, sport and social contentDirect talent and interviews when neededWork with lighting, sound and drone to get the shot rightPost-productionEdit from rough cut to final deliveryColour, sound polish and graphics finishingCut versions for every platform, from 16:9 films to vertical reelsHandle revisions and hit deadlinesWhat we're looking forA strong portfolio or showreel that shows your eye (this matters more than your CV)Solid experience shooting and editing professionallyFluent in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a plusConfident with cinema and mirrorless camera systems, lenses and lightingGood taste, a sense of story and attention to detailComfortable owning a project and working on your ownBased in Doha, or ready to beNice to haveArabicColour grading experienceMotion graphics or VFX skillsQatar driving licenceWhat you getWork on real projects for some of the biggest names in QatarHybrid setup: on set when we shoot, at the studio for team sessions, and wherever you work best for the editRoom to grow with a young company that's scaling fastCreative input from day one, so your ideas end up on screenHow to applySend your CV, portfolio and/or showreel to action@sorsproduction.net.
