With over 6,000 employees globally, we specialise in the research and development of innovative ingredients for the Life Science and Consumer Care markets.We’re looking for a Financial Accountant, you will act as the local finance point of contact for UAE business, ensuring accurate financial information, robust local compliance, effective customer collections, and strong financial support to local management and Headquarters in Spain.This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial information, maintaining local accounting records, supporting statutory and tax compliance, managing customer collections, and providing financial insight to support business decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with local management and Headquarters in Spain to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations. What You’ll Be Doing:Maintain accurate accounting records and support monthly financial reporting requirements.Coordinate local tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory obligations.Support audits and ensure robust financial controls and governance processes.Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow activities and local finance administration.Monitor customer accounts, support collections activities, and manage credit control processes.Provide financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support to aid business decision-making.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Act as the primary finance liaison between the Dubai business and Headquarters in Spain.Manage local banking relationships and support treasury-related activities.Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance and business ethics programmes.Who We’re Looking For:Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).5-8+ years' experience in accounting, finance or controllership roles.Experience in the UAE or GCC environment.Experience working in an international or multinational company.Experience supporting external audits and tax compliance.Advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.A proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.
