Finance Accounting Consultant

Role ObjectiveWork with clients to understand finance, accounting and reporting requirements and translate them into effective Oracle NetSuite solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct client requirement gathering and finance workshops.Perform AS-IS / TO-BE and GAP analysis and recommend NetSuite best-practice solutions.Handle GL, AP, AR, P2P, O2C, R2R, Banking, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition and Financial Reporting.Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS and their application to ERP processes and reporting.Configure NetSuite Financials including Chart of Accounts, subsidiaries, currencies, accounting periods, intercompany and consolidation.Prepare BRD, functional documents, process flows and UAT scenarios.Support data migration, opening balances, reconciliation and financial validation.Configure and validate P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, ageing and management reports.Conduct UAT, user training, Go-Live and post-Go-Live support.Coordinate with technical/integration teams for customization and third-party integrations.Maintain strong client communication, project documentation, ownership and timely escalation.Travel onsite to client locations when required.Preferred ProfileB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA / ACCA or equivalent, with strong accounting knowledge and ERP implementation experience.Key Skills: Oracle NetSuite | Accounting & Finance | GAAP | IFRS | GAP Analysis | Financial Reporting | ERP Implementation | Client Management | UAT | Data Migration
