As a result, we have been recognized as a “Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar” and a “Plaintiffs’ Class Action Powerhouse.”We are currently seeking a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team.Responsibilities Include:Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoicing, payment processing, and 1099 reportingPerform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reclassificationsAdminister firm expense policies using RampReconcile bank and trust (IOLTA/COLTAF) accountsPrepare schedules and documentation for the annual external auditHandle tax compliance, including payroll tax filings, state withholding registrations, and other state filing obligationsSupport payroll processing and assist with year-end reportingMaintain financial records and process documentationWork with attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership on financial matters as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field1–2+ years of experience in an accounting roleStrong working knowledge of GAAP (income tax basis of accounting is a plus)Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort picking up new toolsExcellent attention to detailClear written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA-trackExperience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systemsExperience with Ramp or similar expense management systemsExperience with Salesforce or similar CRM/reporting toolsBackground in a law firm or professional services environmentThe expected salary range for this position is $70,000–$85,000.
