Finance & Accounting Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTIONThis is a full-time, on-site Finance & Accounting Manager role based inDubai. The position combines complete oversight of core transactional accounting &bookkeeping functions with strategic financial management, budgeting, and cash flow controlacross our multi-entity portfolio.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy in daily record-keeping,primary documentation, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance (VAT & Corporate Tax),while simultaneously building unit-level P&L models, monitoring cash flow, and supportingoperational decision-making.You will coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies, using Russian andEnglish in daily communication with leadership, partners, and key stakeholders.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Core Accounting, Bookkeeping & Financial ReportingGeneral Ledger & Record-Keeping: Oversee day-to-day general ledger accounting, ensureproper coding of transactions, and maintain structured chart of accounts for all groupentities.Bank & Account Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across allcorporate accounts, matching incoming/outgoing transfers with deal files, invoices, andcontracts.Receivables & Payables (AR/AP): Track accounts receivable and accounts payable.Primary Documentation.Monthly Financial Closing: Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate trialbalances, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Audit & Tax Coordination: Prepare complete financial files for annual external audits;manage filing and documentation for UAE VAT and Corporate Tax2. Finance Management, P&L & Cash FlowManagement Accounts: Build and maintain unit-level P&L reports, Balance Sheets, andConsolidated Group Cash Flow Statements.Unit Economics & Margin Analysis: Track and analyze profitability per business line .Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Prepare annual budgets and conduct monthly Budget vs.Actual Analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue leakage.Financial Modeling: Prepare project-based financial models, feasibility reports, andvaluations for property acquisitions, disposals, and new commercial ventures.3. Treasury, WPS & Operational ControlCash Flow Management: Maintain dynamic cash flow forecasts to manage liquidity, preventcash shortages.Payroll & WPS: Oversee Wage Protection System (WPS) processing, employee salarytransfers, and visa/PRO-related fee tracking.Banking Compliance: Manage day-to-day banking communications, merchant portalreconciliations, and AML/KYC source-of-funds documentation.4. Team Supervision:Review, assign, and verify the daily bookkeeping entries and operational tasks executed byaccounting staff.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Professionalaccounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA) or active progression towards them isa strong plus.Dual Accounting & Finance Expertise: Solid grounding in fundamental accounting standards,double-entry bookkeeping, trial balance preparation, as well as financial modeling,budgeting, and management reporting.UAE Market Knowledge: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience inDubai/UAE with thorough knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax , WPS payroll and localbanking procedures.Industry Experience: Proven background in multi-entity commercial operations.Software Mastery: Advanced skills in Excel,1C and financial reporting tools; familiarity withERP or accounting systems is must.Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strict attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, andthe ability to organize financial archives systematically.
